Happy Easter

This Easter was the first time I've hosted a holiday. It was also the first time I've ever attempted a ham. I found out that if you get a pre-sliced, fully cooked ham it's actually pretty easy! ;)
We were so grateful to have some of our favorite people come celebrate Easter with us...Krista (Dane's sister) & John, Uche & Melissa, and of course the little ones Zachary & Zoe.

I'm so grateful that this meal (unlike recent catastrophes) when off without a hitch. A big thanks to Krista for making that delicious potato casserole! Yum!! And of course coming early to help me wrap the veggie bundles. Also a huge thanks to Melissa for bringing a scrumptious dessert!!

So am I the only one in the world that likes to put mustard on their ham?? I must have been a really picky eater when I was younger and that was the only way my poor parents could get me to eat it.

What a great day! Hopefully next year there won't be snow on the ground so Zachary can actually go on a real Easter egg hunt outside!!

Yum! I love making ham--like you said, it's just so easy! I don't put mustard on mine, but I bet it would be great with honey-mustard!

way to go stacey--everything looked great. Wish we could have joined in!! I eat mustard on my ham so you aren't the only one. I do prefer to mix in a bit of honey with the mustard though. You should try it.
