We have arrived in Wheaton and my internet is now hooked up. We are doing so well and we are excited for this new phase of life.

So much has happened this summer that it will take me some time to catch up. Please feel free to check back and scroll down for the latest update from our summer. Hopefully it will not take me too long to catch up to the present.

We're Home!

We flew home Monday night and actually arrived in Nashville around 2:30am Tuesday morning. We slept for 5 hours, got up and packed our belongings, and drove to St. Louis. (We had only taken a few things with us to Nashville for the summer and left everything else in St. Louis.) We were greeted there by many good friends who fed us dinner and helped us pack up our moving truck in just 2 hours! Gavin and Esther had already moved to St. Louis so we stayed the night with them. After a good night's sleep we drove up to Chicago Wednesday morning. Our brother-in-law John met us at our new home that we are renting and together he and Dane unloaded the entire truck that night!! Thank you John! My friend Leslie, who I've known since the 6th grade, her husband and their little girl (just 9 months younger than Zachary!) came over that night to welcome us.

We are absolutely blessed to be back at Wheaton. Dane and I met here 8 years ago! It feels like we've come home.
